My life was centered around having glasses on or having them nearby. I decided to have vision correction surgery because of the success stories of others whose lives were like mine and had decided to have LASIK surgery.

My experience was simply astounding! I had some difficulties early on that they went out of there way to take care of, even meeting with my on Easter Sunday. I’m now at 20/15 with clear vision! The procedure couldn’t have been easier. My wife, who is typically nervous about medical procedures, watched with amazement at how easy it was.

I could go on and on about how life-changing vision correction surgery has been. Things that were previously hassle-filled like camping, water skiing, etc. are now a breeze.

Before surgery my vision was fairly good with glasses, poor close-up, and blind without glasses. I decided to have vision correction surgery because I always wanted to be able to see without glasses.

I felt like I got the best care – everyone took as much time as was needed to make sure everything went perfect. I got lots of information.

I was scared, but I wouldn’t be scared again. Valium was a must, but everyone there did all they could to help me to feel relaxed, confident and in good hands.

Now I feel younger and more attractive. It’s so cool not to have to find glasses in the morning. I did monovision, so I can see to read without glasses too. I like being outside in the rain… no wet glasses!

Before surgery I had to wear contacts everyday, and they always hurt, so, many times I would have to wear my glasses. The decision of vision correction surgery was easy to make with the thought of never having to put another contact lens in my eye. That really appealed to me.

My experience at Cedar Valley Eye Care was great. The nurses and Dr. Puk were friendly and I felt like I was well educated on the subject before the procedure was performed. The surgery was quick, easy and painless.

Life after vision correction surgery has easier mornings now that I don’t have to worry about contacts and glasses. I am much more comfortable in malls, restaurants and outside – anywhere the air is dry.

The people at Cedar Valley Eye Care provided a lot of information about the procedure before it was done. You can really tell the Dr. Puk loves what he does and is excited about helping others. The procedure was fairly painless. It only took a few minutes and I was amazed how well I could see going home that day.

We farm and are out in the dust and wind a lot. The small dust particles used to get in my eyes and really hurt with contacts.

After surgery it took a couple months for my eyes to completely settle down and there was some days there were I couldn’t focus. Now this has all passed and I would tell everyone not to get discouraged. The surgery was well worth it.
