Leader Valley is thrilled to announce its first-ever gala celebration, marking 11 years of Leader in Me in the Cedar Valley. The gala is set to take place on January 19th, 2024 at the Hilton Garden Inn in Cedar Falls.
Presented by Vine Valley Real Estate, this formal affair is not only a celebration of the organization’s accomplishments but also a significant opportunity to come together in support of the Cedar Valley’s 11,800 Leader in Me students.
“As the founder of Vine Valley Real Estate,” says Edita Begic, “I am deeply committed to our local community. Having witnessed the transformative impact of Leader in Me initiatives firsthand through my daughters, I am truly honored to be part of this incredible event. It’s my way of giving back and supporting the growth and development of the Cedar Valley’s future leaders.”
The evening promises an unforgettable experience, beginning at 6:00PM with a special social hour exclusively for event sponsors starting at 5:00PM. The gala will be hosted by Abby Turpin, Founder of APT Media and Communications. A keynote address will be delivered by Gina Weekley, Director of Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging for the Waterloo Community School District and Co-Founder and CEO of The Weekley Connection.
Guests will also enjoy a live painting by Paco Rosic, delicious dinner, desserts from Macarons by Sani, and an exciting live auction.
